and is the franchise including TDU1 and 2 and TDFRL etc???

I see they have raised $197 of a total of $200,000 with 11 days left, still plenty of time then

as Bezrider has pointed out the $197 is laughable and i really can't see anyone putting any more cash into the proceeding short of some diehard fan winning the lottery and even then i'm not sure they would want to rescue atari.

Turning a professional studio into a University subsidiary is probably a less bright idea than they think. Although the constant new input with fresh ideas from students could lead to some cool games for sure.

It would ruin the TDU legacy.

TDU needs a dedicated team who understands what the community wants and can deliver, meeting the high expectations of the Hardcore TDU players and serve the casual cruisers as well.

Auction is this week.

1.5M for the Test Drive franchise is a lot of money.

Could have been a nice project.

There is a big chance some elements will be sold internally and used for the restart of Atari.
If TDU will be part of that remains the question.

If not i seriously hope someone with a lot of money will get behind it and help to create a really cool game.
