But it was only a fuel gauge. They played with the idea, just like many others for TDU.
Features like that would be cool for cruising. But only as an option. But just imagine running out of fuel in a Bugatti after only 15 minutes of full throttle and the rage that would cause with pre-teens.
There are probably more reasons why they did not implement that.
