This is for gameplay things you'd like to see in tdu3, at the end of the week the thread will be closed and posts sent to atari and ivory tower
I'd like to see a system where you start out with the bottom-bucket model of a car and then upgrade it to the next in line model
for example: 911 carrera-911 carrera s-911 turbo or gt3-and so on and so forth
i'd also like for the physics to be improved from TDU2 [though that's not saying much :loll: ], if possible we could have a slider like in world racing 2 where you adjust how simmy and how arcadey you want the physics to be.

All I want for additional gameplay is the ability to set up multiple waypoints (in freeroam) and a more realistic police behavior (You know what I mean! :D ).
And please go back to the handling/physics/controls from TDU1 (or improvements thereof)!

Btw Prepsi, I like your idea of these threads!

I would like to extend the UCD for starters.
Add a junkyard where you can buy your first car to race.
Also the ability to buy second hand tuning parts.

If you find a wreck and can get it at the UCD, you should be able to buy more of them if you want to.
Same for Casino cars. Why not win the car every time?

I also liked some game play from TDU1 that was removed from part 2. I made a list on the old forum, bring it all back.

More classic cars and related missions.

Session management

Basic race rules in CVC and Ranked races.

Improved club system and club customizing options

BUT MOST IMPORTANT: GOOD DRIVING PHYSICS

I can make lists all day long but when the basic car driving dynamics are not good, the rest remains pointless... :twocents-02cents:

I posted this in another thread but I think that bigger rooms are important. Doubling from 8 to 16 players would be nice, but more is even nicer. And more traffic cars. Having been to Oahu I can tell you the highways are packed during rush hour, but emptier at night.

Yes, TDU Traffic could be more dynamic, both in density and aggression. (levels: relaxed, TDU, Russian)
But traffic jams in a game..pff we have enough of those IRL already :loll:

More variety in Traffic and special vehicles would be most welcome as well.
Traffic that actually obeys rules for the most part would also be a cool addition. Now they simply ignore players and each other, causing an accident almost every time. Better traffic Ai FTW.

I'd prefer it if cars actually moved fast. By that I mean handling-wise. I've always wondered why cars seem so sluggish and slow on TDU2 after watching sports/supercars (Top Gear woo), they move like flies. With TDU2 it's more of a rolling start, not until you're doing 100mph until it actually feels remotely fast, and as for corners, most of the cars are just slow. The only ones which feel fast are the Atoms and the Zondas.

So yes, better driving physics!

(Also when a car accelerates hard, it lunges forward with every change up, I'd love something like that in TDU2. As far as it goes at the minute your view just zooms out a bit :P)

Physics, controls and feedback (FFB, sound and visual) need to match to create the best drivers game. :ugeek:
And that is the hardest part of making the setup right.

You can only imagine an open world racer like TDU2 with realistic, controllable handling and stunning graphics. Maybe we will get that treat one day.

I have to disagree with this because i have played both grand turismo and gta IV recently and they both feel too slow compared to tdu2. Granted, GTA IV is not a soul racing game but still lol. TDU2 feels faster than both of these and even some need for speeds. Any faster in tdu2 then the cruising aspect wont feel like cruising for me.

Just my opinion.

One thing that they could be more accurate on is scale (avatars as an example). When walking around in race lobbies/freewalking ect you begin to notice how big things are and how much of a dwarf your avatar looks like. For example some palm trees (especially in Oahu - the older island) look massive. Now i know they can be quite tall in real life but still, check 'em out you'll know what i mean haha.
