Today, Project CARS continues its programme of continual updates and fresh content delivery today with its first Track Expansion featuring New Zealand’s Ruapuna Park circuit and three iconic Audi racing cars.

Comprising of five unique layouts, Ruapuna Park International Raceway is New Zealand's premier motor racing facility, located 13 kilometers west of Christchurch, New Zealand.
Hosting some of New Zealand's most exciting racing events, including the prestigious Lady Wigram Trophy and an annual round of the New Zealand V8s series, the track's main 3.3 kilometer layout runs in an anti-clockwise direction and its challenging layout incorporates many fast sweeping corners that reward smooth and precise drivers.

With the Audi R18 e-tron Quattro, six-time American Le Mans Series winner Audi R8 LMP900, and 1989 Audi 90 IMSA GTO rounding out this expansion, all players will additionally be able to get behind the wheel of the coveted and limited run Audi A1 Quattro with delivery of their second Free Car.

The new cars can be put into action right away in three exciting new invitational events that expand Project CARS' extensive single player career mode even further.

And as if that wasn’t enough, the second pack of Community Liveries includes an amazing community-created livery for the Ford Escort Mk 1 as well as six real-life DTM liveries for the Mercedes 190E 2.5-16 Evolution2.

PROJECT CARS ON DEMAND is our commitment to keeping Project CARS up-to-date with the greatest, freshest, and most critical content whilst also allowing players to pick and choose the cars & tracks they want - without being locked in to a pre-paid scheme. With continual Feature Updates addressing items identified by the community and introducing new functionality, exciting Free Cars and beautiful Community-created Liveries, and a variety of themed Car Packs and Track Expansions, Project CARS is built for the future and continues to be a growing and evolving experience throughout 2015 and beyond led by the racing community around the world.

Apparently, six new cars have been found in the files of the new patch:

BMW 2002 Turbo
BMW 320si Touring Car
Ford Mustang Fastback 66
Ford Mustang GT 2015
RUF Yellowbird
RUF RT12R

The cars are most likely going to be the ones in the upcoming "old to new" DLC. I'm most excited for the 320si Touring Car, but I'll probably wait because I still haven't purchased any DLC for this game. I want to hold out until I get a wheel for the Xbox One.

The BMW 2002Ti is a special car in more than one way. Especially the engine. The 1.6 turbo engines were used to power up the F1 cars. They where volume reduced to meet the 1.5 regulations and pumped out a massive 1000HP in the F1 cars. Some say even more. They prefered older blocks as those had proven they could handle the pressure. :D
Things like that won´t happen anytime soon anymore.

From a drivers perspective i´m looking forward to the RUF Yellowbird of course. :woot:
Taking on the Nurburgring Nordschleife in it, is high on my to do list :D

I think the Ultimate Edition and all of the DLC packs are on sale too. If only that was the case on Xbox. :'(

70% on the GOTY Edition. Just 25€ here. That is a steal.

I drove a quick race against the Ai on 100% on the N-ring this week. Just with common GT cars. That field was awesome, with McLaren F1, RUF Yellowbird, Caterhams, Atoms, Aston Martins, BMW, etc.

And the Ai is really good on that track. Not on every track, as they sometimes cut massively. If you do the same you get DQ. Never fixed. But on the Nurburgring Nordschleife the Ai works like a charm.

I did record one or two laps of that race, but have not made a movie from it. Maybe i will. It gives a good impression of the base game.

pCars2 is coming along nicely as well. Will boot that up this week.
