Update time

Holiday time so I've got some time to update things around here.

Lots of new stuff and a new front page, i just hope i have time to get it all done.

Server move went without a hitch and i now have the new site up and running if anyone wants to rent some server space and/or buy a domain name ( it is for wordpress mostly but nothing stopping you from installing anything on it if you want.

I will give Tdudrivetime members a discount on the server space price but you will need to PM me for a code.

Ok first part done, updated to the latest phpBB.

Ok so i got sum updating done to day but as you can see it is not finished yet.

New stuff added to date:

New photo display system (with options in top right of screen when viewing photos)

New Auto link system- You will be asked if you want to go to any links that take you away from Tdudrivetime, this is for your own safety and help guard against suspicious links THIS DOSE NOT MEAN EVERY LINK IS SUSPICIOUS it is just a warning to be careful when clicking on outside links.

Also new system to display videos plus many extras see below.
YOU NOW ONLY NEED TO POST THE LINK AND IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE DISPLAYED IN YOUR POST

Thanks, also as you will notice you now need to click on the icon in header to enable dark mode as i am having problems with the colours (will be fixed soon)

Just thought i'm on a different board. Only thing i see in the first moment, that might need a tweak is the postlist on the left side. In nightmode it is all white and does not change to "night". The rest will check out over time. With that in mind, happy new year everyone.

Thanks Donnie, yes still working through some issues with night mode not selecting colours when needed, also got issues with not all videos in old posts not displaying after adding new system got it fixed for the most part but if anyone see one of his/her posts not showing the video just edit post then hit submit and it should be ok .

I tried to sort this out with re-phrasing all posts but site is now that big the server times out before it completes.

Also got some other new stuff to add including new upload system for photos so you can upload as many as you like with no impact on server space.

And have just started to design a new front page for the forum (still a wile off yet)

But most importantly trying to fit some game time in as well wile i am off for the hols.

Ok more new stuff

New upload system for photos, a little slower than the old attachments upload system but images are now not stored on the server so a big space saver for tdudrivetime.

So upload as many photos as you like.
It will auto insert each photo into into the post with extra options in the boxes below the upload button.

Is there a Dark Theme mode for the website?

Yes it's in the top right of the menu bar, you will see a MOON icon (will change to SUN icon when in dark mode) just click it to go dark and as long as you have cookies enabled in your browser it will remember it from then on.


I am working on making the dark mode default.
