Like with all shader options, sometimes less is more. Having more control over visuals is great for screen grabbing, but bad for racing. Finding the right balance is key.

ENB is available for many popular games and usually gives best results, while maintaining a steady FPS.
For smooth gameplay a stable FPS is more important than some eye candy. Especially shadow settings can usually be toned down a notch without sacrificing too much on image quality.
Sometimes custom textures can be used to gain similar effects without sacrificing FPS or overall image quality.

It would be cool if future versions of TDU will get an ENB plugin. Not for races or competitive events, as it can also be used to make things more easy, but to create custom events, cruises and races. Or epic wallpaper.

IMO you should have control over time of day, weather and things like traffic density and behavior or aggression. Custom races would never be the same again ;)
