Almost every major city here in the U.S. is hit by protests and riots. Wild, wild times we live in. Never thought it would come to my city in Fayetteville, North Crolina. Our local mall is being looted. People are delivering the wrong message.

A combination of ongoing lockdowns, uncertainty and misbehavior of Gov and Law enforcement can make people get dragged into doing stupid things.

Lets hope the Riots end quickly, as they do not serve any positive goals and most certainly do not justice to the unfortunate death of the arrested man, who was killed by applying excessive force by an officer of the law.

Some say these looting and plundering and setting things on fire are an organized attempt by Antifa type organizations to deliberately create even more chaos.

National Guard will get things under control. But those behind these events should be ashamed of themselves.

It is sometimes scary to see, how little is needed to crack an already partly unstable civilization into turmoil

This lockdown needs to end. Now.

Protests are spreading, not just in the USA, but also in cities in Europe as well.

It appears that a certain group of people, known for a bad habit of destabilizing countries and overthrowing governments is behind it all.
Eye witnesses say that some of the hard core riot folk are not locals and nobody knows them or where they came from. This is a well known recipe to inject a violent hurdle of protesters into a crowd of relative calm protesters. Things will go out of control quickly after. It is like igniting a fuse.
It has happened in Paris with the "Gillets Jaune", "Antifa" and "Extinction Rebellion" and now all over the US. Same basic principle.

There are some cool, mostly colored people who stand up against these protesters, but they are largely ignored my MSM, who want to use the riots for boosting their ratings. Nobody likes peaceful protestors, right?

Police brutality does not know any color, ethnicity or race. Unfortunately it still happens but 99% of the cops are just doing their jobs and do not deserve the attacks focused on them right now.

Identity politics are the worst invention ever. It only sets up groups of citizens against each other, instead of bringing them together.

Maybe time to freeze all assets of those financing these troublemakers. After all they are complicit.

It is definitely true that a "combination of lockdowns" unemployment, and students out of school is contributing to the protests and riots in every state and other parts of the world. People under lockdown had enough and have nothing else to do, so everybody came out.

I agree MadMan, people had enough and lockdowns need to end. This is insane!

It is very unfortunate that these protests are used by pro (paid?) violent riots and looters.

Peaceful protests should always be possible.

These a-holes that abuse the protests to riot and plunder should be arrested and their financiers be hold responsible for all damages done. That is if there is indeed a more organized structure behind it, as it seems to be.



Some cities really have bad gov, with half arsed response to the issues at hand.
They need to get on top of things quickly. No time to play politics now. Just insane to defend people who break into stores and shopping malls, burn buildings and leave a war zone behind.

In the EU, most protests have been peaceful. Right now the US is targeted. Soon® will become clear by who or whom.

Unfortunately there are also reports of Peaceful protesters, who have been scared away with tear gas, rubber bullets and flash grenades. Law enforcement really needs to be careful who they are targeting IMO. At the same time, everybody should follow instructions to move along, to avoid these confrontations. MSM will be quickly there to play the blame game on the wrong people or law enforcement. Their role needs to be scrutinized as well, as all they do is throw oil on the fire to get more views or better ratings. Just pathetic.

And yes, that is happening right now. Fortunately for us, there are those with open eyes, who are wake enough to see things as they are and put them in perspective. The terror will fail.

While in the whole World peaceful protests take place to support initiatives against racial motivated Police violence, others take advantage of these gatherings to inflict damage to society.
The charges against the guilty Police officer have been pumped up to Murder, but nobody seems to care anymore. Weeks of lockdown, joblosses and frustration towards the lack of action from Government, who are more interested in keeping the status quo than actually helping communities, are now coming to the surface. And not always in a peaceful manner.



Add to this the rumors of a coordinated attack, with rioters being released by (biased, bought and paid for?) prosecutors the same day they got arrested. What kind of Law & Order is that?

Strange times indeed

There are some strange side effects of these demonstrations and riots. You see shop windows with signs stating that it has a black owner and such. What is that supposed to mean? That it is allright to smack up a white mans shop, but not the black one? Strange logic.

I do understand the rage and feeling some groups have against society. But the root cause is primarily identity politics and placing everybody in boxes. That results in playing people against each other. Time to wake up.
