Having recently reinstalled TDU2 and having saved my game folder, I enjoyed taking a few of my 50 or so cars out for a spin. Then I climbed into the cab of my Volvo and hit the road hauling freight. While it's fun to hit the road at high speed, I much prefer the Zen like feel of hauling freight at a nice easy pace. Enjoying scenery, a selection of many streaming radio stations , and just a nice smooth ride. Tried playing with an Xbox controller with the Steam Link on the big TV but not sure how anyone manages to drive smoothly. G27 is unpacked and set up just how I like it. So, if I want to take a fancy fast car out for a quick spin I can but for the long haul (pun intended), it's ETS2 for me.
