That was one of the most exciting qualifying sessions of this season.
The P2 position on the track changed at least 5 times in the final moments of Q3.
But nobody came even close to Verstappen, claiming his 5th pole in a row.

Kudos to Hulkenberg and Bottas for making it into Q3.

Tomorrow morning will be an interesting race.

Today's sprint race took place on a dry track.
It became interesting because Verstappen had to start from 4th and Lando was forced a bit wide by Lewis, who had a better start. After initial battery issues, Max moved to the front of the field and ended 13 sec ahead of runner up Lewis.

What an interesting race track, lots of wild turns.

That track has been shaped like a Chinese Character; it means "good luck" for the drivers, if i'm correct

This was an interesting race, maybe not so much at the front, but certainly in the midfield.
Many incidents and a few accidents. The concertina effect and Stroll ruining Ricciardo's race and potential points finish was really careless, but even more the Magnussen Tsunoda shunt.
Both got rewarded a 10 second penalty but both were also responsible for taking out another driver from the race. Maybe an incident that leads to an early retirement from the victim has to be automatically rewarded with a drive through.


The race was won by Max Verstappen, who else? With Lando Norris maximize his performance with second place, also thanks to a keen pit stop strategy and Perez to complete the podium. Both Ferrari's finished just outside the podium but with another solid performance. Vasseur's influence starts to show.



Mercedes did not have a very good weekend, but Lewis managed to drive into the points, after starting from the back of the field. Not in the best mood, hearing from his radio comments.

Alonso was again the TV moment king. What a nice catch that was, coming onto the finish straight, going massively sideways after hitting the gravel pit with 2 wheels, but managing to continue and immediately applying DRS to catch his next victim. He might be the oldest driver of the field but still razor sharp. Great reflexes there.
