Bad news for Williams GP and the Formula 1 in general

The Bacardi Group has decided to stop with Martini Sponsoring after this season.

Too bad really as it is one of my favorite sponsor color scheme (with Gulf)



If it has to do with the 2 young drivers not able to do commercial work for them in some countries, or simply because Martini wants to focus their sponsoring budget in a different manner, remains a mystery. The lack of appealing results might play a role as well.

Williams does very well on the business side, but sporting results have been absent recently. The time when Williams battled for victories seems ages ago. And with their current mediocre pay driver line-up that will not come back quickly. Not even with a good chassis. The Canadian Dollars and Russian Rubles might roll in quickly, but without solid results, big sponsors will turn their back on this team. Even with a big name and history in Formula 1.

Maybe time for Claire Williams to wake up and acknowledge that Formula One is more then just a business case.

F1 TV, the new app has been launched at Barcelona today. It will give foorage of all training sessions, but also supporting race classes, like F2, GP3 and the Porsche Supercup.
In addition to that, you can make your own dashboard and follow single drivers. A 360 view option (replay) will be available from Australia with special developed cameras. Add to that access to historic footage as well as all possible race data.

I already have the F1 app and will upgrade if needed. This is just what the doctor ordered.

Mclaren seems to have the pace this season if they can be ahead of Deadbull, but seems this is going to be an epic fight for the points this season.

I'm very excited for the start of this season just to see if Mclaren can fight for podium.

Europe is truely being fucked hard by that arctic whether front chilling us all to the bone, for there to be snow in Bacelona damn, no point in running a F1 car on snow unless it has studded tires
