My total is not very high because I've always preferred hard copies of my games (CD/DVD's) but times are changing and most games are bought online now so I guess I will just have to go with the flow.

This calculator is no official Steam tool, is it?

I have over 250 Steam games. And am not sure if i want to know how much i have spent over there

Just bought a new external HDD to make a backup copy of most of my games. Sometimes downloading happens very slow and games get bigger and bigger all the time. So making a spare copy of your games can be a smart move.

I always wanted hard copies of my games as well. But i have developed an addiction to Steam $ales. Don't know if there is any treatment for that.
And they have a small but excellent selection of software as well.

No it's not an official Steam site but it is safe to use and can also be a handy place to check out upcoming sales

I must make a small note on those numbers. The current list price of those games is taken to make the calculations.
So some might have been purchased cheaper and some not.

In the end i can only say that i have spent way too much on Steam games, lol.
On the other hand, only 1$ per hour on gaming sounds reasonable to me
