Has Atari given up?

true, you do try to help people when you can. as do the rest of us.

the difference?

none of us try to say that we own atari stock so that make us privvy to info that others don't have. none of us sit here and talk about having knowledge as to when the server lease runs out, but go on to say we cannot actually back this claim up. none of us go on about owning this company that allows us access to this, that, and the other. in summary, none of us sit in here and act like we are some bigshot who is so much better and so much more informed than the rest of the people in here. we just act like members of a forum with a game or two in common. we don't go about trying to seemingly impress people that we will never meet in real life. we don't go and make a post deeming others incompetent like you just did.

grow up, and stop trying to act like you are SOMEONE. it doesn't make a difference in here. as far as you know MadMan is a Nobel winning scientist. Prepsi could be Maynard James Keenan, the singer for Tool, Perfect Circle and Puscifer. Bezrider could be a CEO for a Fortune 100 company. but in here none of that would matter.

and if you are really trying to compare someone who made the tragic choice to end thier life to me calling you ramman jack, you really need to grow up and stop being so effing overly sensitive. you did not get bullied, i called BS on another claim of yours. thats all. i really don't care how you reply to this, you will never be taken off my ignore list again. not worth my time to read replies from someone who makes my eyes roll out of thier sockets, gets expensive visiting the ER to have them popped back in place.
My secret identity got leaked! Oh well, off to a new forum with a new name and new identity.... :loll:
But you guys are both at fault on this one, sfy you insulted him based on no proof, and Jax it was fine telling him to stop but bringing up the suicide made it pretty melodramatic. :back to topic:

Yeah let's bash Atari, bunch of incompetent numpties, and while we're at it, let's not forget Eden games they are the ones who stuffed up the development of TDU2 in the first place, they have to be the lamest bunch of moronic wastes of space that ever drew breath! :loll:

I don't know if its just a case of the cleaner resetting the trip switch or if its a sign of someone still working on the game but finally the clock has finally been fixed on Xbox so the day/night cycle is working again, lets hope we hear from them soon about something positive.

It is always easy to bash. But remember that they made this game that we all like to play. It was delivered far from complete and partly dysfunctional. But maybe that is symbolic for the relation between Atari and Eden.

The list of flaws and irregularities is longer than a UN speech, but it is still one of my favorite games :loll:

Somehow it seems Atari doesn't really embrace the Test Drive series. A bit stupid IMO. Maybe time for someone enthusiastic to take over.

@neon, they have reset the CRC servers on PC as well. Someone is monitoring the game and servers. Maybe they avoid the fallout on the forum and save their energy for fixing the game. Still a lame move.

The turning out of unfinished and shoddy work in the games and software industry seems to be acceptable with the "oh it might be fixed later" attitude being the norm, can you imagine that happening in any other industry and the answer would be no, because no one would accept it, so as far as I'm concerned it shouldn't be acceptable in the gaming and software industry either and any company and/or developer who does so, is fair game for a roasting! :loll:

I have to agree on that one. Unfortunately some hardware manufacturers embrace the same release protocols, as their devices only start to work properly after the 5th firmware upgrade or so. It is a plague....

I never figured Steam would act like lame copycats. Maybe suing them can pull Atari out of the red numbers :loll:
