De Macross GT1 '11
The GT1 is a Canadian supercar first presented in the 2011 Dubai Motor Show.
The heart of the De Macross is its Roush Yates V8 that displaces 5.4-liters and includes a supercharger. It’s capable of delivering over 800hp and 700 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels.
De Macross employed the help of Multimatic to help them incorporate F1 technology into their new car. The aluminum monocoque tub that houses the interior of the car was designed and fabricated by Multimatic and they also helped to connect the front and rear substructures for the suspension and engine. The company was also able to get the car safe enough to pass global safety standards of FMVSS and EEC.
The suspension system comes directly from F1 and uses a Dynamic Suspensions Spool Valve (DSSV) dampers. These can be independently adjusted via an inboard push-rod. By changing the spring damper and rocker motion ratio the vehicle is able to change ride height and increase the effective spring rate.

Sbarro Monster G '87
The Monster G was an extreme 4x4 vehicle created by the Swiss automotive company Sbarro. At the 1987 Geneva Motor Show, visitors were able to discover the Sbarro stand a ... monster!
Monster G is the name of this big 4x4 landed on aircraft wheels. Few cars have been equipped, to my knowledge, with wheels of the Boeing 747 by 20 inches high and 14 inches wide! Of course, these were modified and reduced, and then slip special tires designed by Goodyear. The chassis, meanwhile, is much more conventional as it is from a Range Rover.
The Monster G is not an angel, with its apparent chrome pole, lack of doors, no hood out, the exhaust pipes and rear pick-up. Technology side, the body is entirely made of Kevlar, which was not so common in 1987 (and even today)
For the engine, Sbarro used an 8-cylinder engine from Mercedes (6.4-liter) developing 350 horses. At the time, the only 4x4 with a higher power (450 horses) was the Lamborghini LM002.
This "monstrous" all wheel drive was commissioned by a German immigrant in Los Angeles. Anecdote: if you fall down, far from all, Sbarro has placed a generator in the trunk, and a mini-motorbike to reach the nearest garage!

DeSoto Adventurer II Coupe '54
In 1954 Ghia designed the Adventurer II as a prototype to showcase their own version of a Rocket Age DeSoto. With an extended hood, long rear overhang and small greehouse, the Adventurer II had many DeSoto proportions with European style.
Adventurer II came from Ghia's own Supersonic design by Giovanni Savonuzzi. It was reworked by Virgil Exner to accommodate the length of the DeSoto chassis and in doing so he created a much more dramatic design.
A unique feature of this Ghia special is the sliding sunroof which hides into the trunk area.
The Adventurer II was built on the DeSoto Imperial Series S-19 chassis and is powered by a Chrysler Hemi V8 developing 160 hp. Extremely long for a two-seater, its form is at once elegant and refined yet boldly spectacular. An innovative feature that seems never to have been replicated was the sliding-into-the-trunk backlight, opening up the roof behind the seats, giving a draft-free open area and many of the advantages of a convertible with none of the inconveniences. A close look at the DeSoto will show just how fastidious and perfection-minded Ghia designers, managers and workmen were.
