Fox got nerfed again. Not happening. Fox cannot short hop laser to the extent of previous games anymore, combined with the lower distance the laser travels, means that Fox is nowhere near as good as he was before. Short hop lasers accomplished one important fact: Fox does not put away the gun when he lands from firin' in the air.
This animation makes what would otherwise be a fast Fox to forcin' him to stop to adhere to these animations. And this is very relevant to why Fox only Final Destination was even a thing to begin with.
The other thing being shine cancellin', which we have no idea if it is goin' to be put back in, as it was removed in Brawl.
Other characters can pressure much more with projectiles that stun (Megaman), projectiles that actually do knockback (Samus) or projectiles that go much faster and farther (Pit). This isn't even gettin' into the fact that these changes make Fox a weaker character.
This is relevant to bring up because Final Destination favors chain throwers and projectile spammers (to a lesser extent, characters with abusable disjointed hitboxes) - aka zone controllers.
I don't understand it, sometimes you make the stupidest comments, sometimes you make the smartest ones.
