Probably in the 600-800 range. Higher mid tier, if you can call it that.
Direct drive is the way to go and wih Fanatec you can exchange endless amounts of wheels.
Edit; 849 for the expres version. Not too long ago you paid almost twice that for just the wheelhub. You still can.
A serious piece of kit.
There are 5Nm and 8Nm versions available. So you can have your workout at the same time

Nice but the price is on another planet and way beyond the average gamer.

An official F1 license will do that to a product. And it is only for the wheel, you still need a wheelbase and pedals.
And a fast getaway car for a heist.

Fanatec makes Direct Drive accessible with their new package
The new CSL DD Race Ready P1 Bundle For PC comes with the CSL DD Wheel Base, CSL Steering Wheel P1 V2, and the CSL Pedals, giving you a realistic experience out of the box, while also being a great starting point in the extensive Fanatec ecosystem.
The combination of a high-performance, direct drive servo motor, an upgradeable metal pedal set and a versitile steering wheel suitable for many different driving styles makes this starter kit a simple plug and play experience for all major PC racing games.
Other Fanatec peripherals are also supported, including a shifter and handbrake.
At just 500$ i think it is a great deal, but do grab the load cell upgrade for the brakes.
