Maybe Toyota did this for practical reasons. Most of their line up are front wheel driven cars. They need a RWD platform.
And they would not have picked BMW if it was a bad choice.
In addition to that, the Supra will not look like a BMW.

In fact from the outside you will not even know that some platform sections are shared with BMW.

Would you not buy a new Supra, because of it?

From what I've seen from the test mules and speculation renders its rear will quite resemble a BMW Z4 (a car that I like but that I don't want to be reminded of when I see a car named "Supra"). Hopefully it won't when the final product is finally revealed. :|

If ya pretend the "kidneys" aren't there you could see a decent lookin' car, that's how I do with the Z4 and the i8. :mrgreen:

Just me or is that camo BMW looking abit to much like a Ford Mustang pony car from the sides? I thought they were making the new Z4 ?!
