Tom Webster wrote:The Nissan Juke-R 2.0 concept has been revealed at the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The model has been unveiled on Nissan’s stand at the show and is set to complete a run up Goodwood's hill over the weekend of the Festival before being displayed in the Supercar Paddock.

It will be driven up the hill by Nissan’s Le Mans 24 Hour driver Jann Mardenborough.

The Juke-R 2.0 is based on the latest version of the Juke but uses large amounts of technology from the Nissan GT-R, taking its total power output to 600bhp. As a result, the company claims the fast Juke crossover is ‘supercar-beating' in terms of its performance.

Updates over the original Juke-R include a heavily redesigned front bumper, which offers increased air flow for engine cooling, a carbon fibre rear bumper and diffuser, and redesigned carbon fibre side sills. The lights and bonnet are all from the 2015 MY Nissan Juke, while the colour is the same matte black as the first Juke-R. The interior remains largely the same as the previous version, with a black headlining the only change.

The previous Nissan Juke-R was created in 2011 as a not-for-sale performance model, which was based on a modified a Nissan GT-R and featured a 485bhp 3.8-litre V6 engine that took it from 0-62mph in 3.7 seconds.

There are no official performance figures for the Juke-R 2.0, but the 600bhp power output suggests it will improve on the 2011 Juke-R's figures. The same engine also features in the GT-R, which is capable of a top speed of 196mph and a 0-62mph time of less than 2.7sec.

The Juke-R 2.0 is currently described as a concept, with no word on when or whether it will make it into production.
