Is it a bad thing to like the replica more than the original car?

Not if the car is Uruguayan. Image

It's technically a new car too as it's an interpretation of Dellepiane on how the car could have looked if there was a coupe version. :geek:

Yea, the only place with a good amount of information on the car was an Uruguayan one, all the others had very little information, but they were also good for the final post.

I still think that translating things is something really boring, and maybe that's why there was no good info in english already. :geek:

It will probably stay like that, she prefers cars like that. I however am making posts for some more well known cars albeit I only choose the ones I like.

Lister Storm '93
Lister Storm '93.jpg
The Lister Storm was a homologated racing car built by Lister Cars of the United Kingdom beginning in 1993. The Storm used the largest V12 engine fitted to a production road car since World War II, a 6,996cc Jaguar unit based on the one used in the Jaguar XJR sportscars that competed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Due to the high US$350,000 price of the vehicle, only four examples were produced before production of the road-going Storm ceased. Only three Storms survive today, although the Lister company continues to maintain racing models.

The bored and stroked two-valve Lister V12 produced 546 hp and 790 N·m (582.7 lb·ft) of torque. The front-engined rear-wheel drive car weighed 1.664 kg, and was capable of sprinting to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds.

Dimensions:
Wheelbase: 102.0 in
Length: 179.0 in
Width: 78.0 in
Height: 52.0 in

Ferrari FF '12
Ferrari FF '12.jpg
The Ferrari FF is a grand tourer presented by Ferrari on March 1, 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show. It was Ferrari's first production four-wheel drive model.

Called the FF - an acronym for Ferrari Four (four seats and four-wheel drive), the model is the company’s most powerful, versatile four-seater. The concept car was designed by Pininfarina, and according to Ferrari "the new car represents not so much an evolution as a true revolution." The new model will deliver "unprecedented level an extremely sporty, high-performance character with incredible versatility, superb comfort and sophisticated elegance, guaranteeing both driver and passengers an absolutely unique driving experience."

The FF shares the design language of contemporary Ferraris, including the pulled-back headlights of the 458 Italia, and the twin circular taillights seen on the 458 as well as the 599 GTB Fiorano. Designed under the direction of Lowie Vermeersch, former Design Director at Pininfarina, work on the shooting brake concept initially started following the creation of the Sintesi show car of 2007. Distinctive styling elements include a large egg-crate grille, defined side skirts, and four exhaust tips. The shooting brake configuration is a departure from the conventional wedge shape of modern Ferraris, and the FF has been likened to the similarly-shaped 1962 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Drogo race car.

The new four-wheel drive system, engineered and patented by Ferrari, is called 4RM: it is around 50% lighter than a conventional system, and provides power intelligently to each of the four wheels as needed. It functions only when the manettino dial on the steering wheel is in the "comfort" or "snow" positions, leaving the car most often in the traditional rear wheel drive layout.

Ferrari's first use of 4RM was in a prototype created in the end of the 80s, called 408 4RM (abbreviation of "4.0 liter, 8 cylinder, 4 Ruote Motrici", meaning "four-wheel drive").

This system is based around a second, simple, gearbox (gears and other components built by Carraro Engineering), taking power from the front of the engine. This gearbox (designated "power take off unit", or PTU) has only two forward gears (2nd and 4th) plus reverse (with gear ratios 6% taller than the corresponding ratios in the main gearbox), so the system is only active in 1st to 4th gears. The connection between this gearbox and each front wheel is via independent haldex-type clutches, without a differential. Due to the difference in ratios "the clutches continually slip" and only transmit, at most, 20% of the engine's torque. A detailed description of the system (based on a conversation with Roberto Fedeli, Ferrari's technical director) has been published.

The Ferrari FF has a 6,262cc naturally aspirated direct injected 65° V12, which produces 651 hp at 8,000 rpm and 504 lb·ft of torque at 6000 rpm, it is mated to a 7-speed double-clutch semi-automatic paddle shift system similar to the California, 458 Italia, and the F12 Berlinetta.

Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR '14
The attachment Land-Rover-Range-Rover-Sport-SVR.jpg is no longer available
Capable of accelerating from 0-96 km/h in 4.5 seconds with an electronically limited top track speed of 260 km/h, the Range Rover Sport SVR will be the first Land Rover vehicle to wear the new high-performance SVR badge.

The SVR features a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine which has been developed to produce 550hp - a 40hp increase over the standard supercharged V8 - while its advanced ZF 8HP70 eight-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel-drive chassis have been tuned to complement the astonishing performance.

Showcasing an electronically controlled two-stage active exhaust, the SVR produces an inspired soundtrack at higher engine speeds while maintaining refinement during steady-state driving. Emphasizing all-terrain capability, vehicles are equipped with 21-inch alloy wheels with 275/45 R21 all-season Continental Cross Contact tires.

The exterior design of the SVR makes a visual impact, while functionally boosting cooling and aerodynamic efficiencies. Similarly, a modified interior featuring sport seats provides visual differentiation and offers increased support during spirited driving.

Producing a lap time of 8 minutes 14 seconds on Germany's legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife racetrack, the Range Rover Sport SVR unleashes the full potential of the lightweight and robust all-aluminum architecture, while retaining refinement, luxury and off-road capability.

Speaking ahead of its global premiere, John Edwards, Managing Director of Land Rover Special Operations, said: "The Range Rover Sport SVR is a natural progression beyond the core vehicle's outstanding on- and off-road capabilities and leading-edge design. It's exhilarating performance will satisfy a particularly demanding customer set."

"A thorough range of revisions specially developed by Land Rover's Special Vehicle Operations combine to make this premium derivative even more distinctive both inside and out, as well as taking its dynamic capabilities to the next level without impacting on comfort, refinement or all-terrain versatility. The Range Rover Sport SVR is truly the world's most capable performance SUV."

The Range Rover Sport SVR - designed, engineered and built in Britain - amplifies the engineering integrity, robustness and attention to detail that are Land Rover hallmarks. The Range Rover Sport was introduced in 2005, with over 500,000 vehicles built to date.

The Range Rover Sport SVR builds on the success of the Range Rover Sport. Its all-aluminum unibody reduces weight by 39 percent compared with its predecessor and provides a strong, stiff and lightweight structure on which to create the Range Rover Sport SVR. The Range Rover Sport SVR was created by the Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations team and will be built alongside existing models and sold through the Land Rover retailer network.
