There has been a lot of talk of the Amd Radeon 7990. it's has 2X 7970GHZ 3GB cards total of 6GB of Vram which is enough to power 6 displays via Mini DisplayPort and DVI
There has also been benchmarks GTX Titan,GTX 690,7990. The 7990 runs 4% better in battlefield 3
Amd Radeon 7990
Very nice card for a triple (or more) monitor setup. Only comparable with another dual GPU card like the NVidia 690 or even a dual Titan card, lol.
All i know is that these dual GPU cards are very power hungry and can never be clocked at the same speeds as their single GPU brothers. Unless you use a fancy watercooling setup. If you really need this kind of graphics power you can also take two 7970GHZ versions in CF.
It looks like ATI/AMD has entered the 1000$ videocard range with a nice competitor.

Crossfire is newer something you should aim at getting, plus those cards are outdated by alot now, you are far better of getting at new and faster card, than you are getting two of these lesser cards, i have owned a 7950 myself and my GTX 970 is 2x the card.
Weird necro bump indeed.
